Diary for XLERs-2011 - 2013 by RON

Sudden thought came to return to my roots giving a miss to exotic Paris & Spain........
Landed up in Tatanagar in the months it has heavy downpour of Rain..........
So many ???????? being only stranger in batch of odd 240,joining as Bummer......

.
Irony that during my initial days i knew only loads and loads of Hummer..........
Been Listening to XL ki Kudiyan sinces ages....Been a Bodhi Fan since college days....
Never thought would join the legacy and bandwagon someday.....
Got familiar with XL Culture-"Bhasad", terms like DCP,Frax & Grax............
But my SuperFavourite is "GAS" :P
Shall miss Coffee at Dadus & awesome food of Bishuda around midnite........
Of course there were certain negative stuffs which were ain't right........
May be being silly me kept unrealistic expectations...........
And wanted to feel more like a Xlers than just a Guest...........
But brushed with reality when someone said "I am just a passing cloud" :-(
Had some bestest times be Euphoria Concert or Dancing for events......
I simply want to take back plethora of positive fun memories over negative dents..
Though the word "Placement" & crazy obsession of India's Best Brains drove me crazy........
Seeing complex jigsaw puzzles 1st time ever made my vision bit hazy.............
I was wondering why did i land up here when everything didnot seem right.......

Coz in recent era, usual attitude towards Friendship is "Out of Mind,Out of Sight"......
But connecting the dots i realized that God wanted me to befriend most amazing person who is a real source of a lifetime Inspiration for "Creative Soul" in me.........
Will remember the Random conversations,walk and midnite tea.........
And of course will try to visit "Bodh Gaya" & Dimna" someday you see :-)

Here's wishing everyone Life's best ahead and extreme apologies if my stay for the term caused any problem to anyone..........Goodluck!!Tc..........Cheers :-)

Jo kabhi na ved bhau kaare doston se kiya tera kiya mera..........

MAXI ki shaan,Kaare aage Jeevan main khub Roshan aur naam.......

Yehi hain mera sache Dil se chahat aur Bhagwan Shivji ko apna pranaam :-)

Sangeeta : So few lines in your honour,my dearest friend in XL who means so much to me :-)

Its funny,weird,strange that i can't still recollect our first encounter........

As it was with momentum our gr8 bond of Friendship striked and with time geared with much love and power :-)

I was touched with her tender care and warmth.............
Amidst strangers she was the girl with the golden heart.........

Apart from going out of her way and making my Bday special.........

She is so sensitive,let alone being gentle...............

Going to GYM for few days we went being lazy me seem Fun

She made me always feel comfortable,got a smile on my face even when i wanted to pack my bags and run :-)

Sharing the comfort zone,sms,pouring my heart out and can discuss anything with her under the sun.............

I want the life's best to come to her..........

Her "Prince Charming"will be lucky i can cent percent assure..............

She can heal wounds and has the perfect cure..........

With her magical words with polite touch and intentions so pure.............

Shall miss the days and times in XLRI a lot, and i know how lucky i am to have befriended someone so nice and makes you feel special in a place as if its always your..........................

Vasudha : "Vasudha" but Vasu for few special near and dear ones..........
Who has lot of guns and can put efforts in many stuffs in tons........
Her loyalty towards P & G is mind-blowing..........
Always in her conversations there will be a villain name Kakani who made Xlers life damn screwing 

A simple girl with big dreams..........
Who loves to gorge on cold drinks and icecreams

"Being very Focussed" in life is her USP 
I shall miss the long walks with you thoughout XL and outings at Dhaba......

 Started conversations seeing my frustrations via FB vented in Independence Day but over time our beautiful bond of friendship grew & now we share anything even hangover, cookie and liquor J

Just one group study and 20 session of prof ,BPDP genius covered in 30 minutes,how cool…..

I could clear the subject and decent grade with 0 prep and initially I was a fool……..

Coz why the hell so long to interact as my life would have been much simpler and fun……

Sharing music, bangla talks, catching up at Bishuda and sharing everything under the sun……

Most awesome treat if anyone bestowed upon me in Tatanagar was none other but caring BPDP

Yum food & Chinese being my Fav,A must visit Hong Kong inspite hectic days and busy bee

Well the secret to BPDP starts with initially BABUMOSAI, me giving typical Bong touch…..

Rest of acronym will elaborate during his Euro Trip convo and meeting French & Dutch……

Someone was kinda surprise and enthralled at ways of Videsh culture & Firangi Effect…..

College get together, seeing open invites, mood of rejoice,Euro Trip back home loads to reflect...

Celluloid in reality-Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara skydiving stunt…….

With another sporty Indian damsel Kastur Kali who cooked and was bold and upfront…….

We have to catch hold of Papon and hope to jam together soon and write musical melody…

Have to yet finalize the song wordings and not just in lines of Romeo Juliet & scene balcony………

Saurav Dada-Koustubh’s evergreen Prerna and from his experiences gets motivation…….

And helps getting Life’s new zest and ideas leading to change and innovation……

Been ages drank together with any buddy,last was wine in diwali

But I can vouch I can’t drink like a fish as while in Maximum City days but like to chill maari…

Last term at XL hamari jaan par aapka swagat hain aur kyunki……

Abhi “Placements” mega season hogi aur umeed hain destiny

Humaari raahen phir se milenge waise bhi party hain due

BIKRAM PAAJI :  Thanks to Bikram Paaji that did not had to step outtta campus often as mess food was pretty awesome that I did not miss my Fav. being typical me “FISH” in the menu……..I simply admire his jovial nature & first when I encountered him was wondering who is this innocent looking Paaji J    Not only making my Farewell super lovely by is funny antics and making everyone write on my T-shirt J These are some XL evergreen memories I shall cherish for a lifetime. Wishing you all the happiness and success ahead, Paaji u simply ROCK Cheers!!

RAM : The one word that describes him best is “GEM”  No one has been so caring and shown concern as Ram during my tenure in Tatanagar………No wonder he rightfully deserves to be ISEP secy(unlike few others who just their to show off their power but never gave damn and are so insensitive) and I am glad he is or else I won’t have got a chance to befriend him……..Your Farwell msg for me “SETTLE HERE” is super awesome and pouring my heart out and discussing inner turmoil gave me much relief and felt a huge burden was released as initially I left like a “ZOMBIE” and it was all in my head……………..Be the same amazing person you are and I know you won’t change that in you because you are few people I have came across who are so grounded, matured and genuinely cares………..I know one thing for sure we gonna be forever keeping in touch and I wish you Life’s best forever and always…Cheers!!

ARPIT :  Bonjour Monsieur -My 1^st XL buddy whose emails cleared my apprehensions of coming to a new place amidst new batch mates that too all alone……I simply look upto his amazing jest for life :-)

Be cooling me down regarding “Grades tension” and who offered his helping hand to make me PPC(though I chickened out of the course later,lol)  Well sorry buddy though could spend much time or teach you French(tried compensating my Videos & Docs) but here’s wishing you all the very best ahead and hope you have the best exchange tenure in Europe and need not say “Stay in touch”  Bientot(see you soon in French)

BHANU : Simple humble guy who is troubled by life which is always playing hide and seek with him……………A super tough prof as Rajkumar is totally impressed by the insights he brings in the class………..It was nice to share a lot during XL tenure with him. Here's wishing you all the happiness and success ahead and may your life be filled with positivity always.

SUNIL : Its really weird that I am penning down for someone I have never interacted but I could not stop the ink of the pen from flowing for someone I just want to say “Hats Off” In a batch of 240 odds, he is the only person having solid principles(though I don’t have the Right to comment much as I am not part of the so call Placement Hungama)

But from an outsider perspective who is a guest for one term I know I should not be bothered but I was completely stunned knowing about negativity that prevails in a creamy Indian B school where I came with high expectations.

I salute your bravery Dear Sunil and please never change this trait of your because our country needs people like you among crazy mad race and insensitive humans………..I shall always pray to God to give you much strength and always keep this undoubting Faith within you and move forward and climb the ladder of success. Cheers!!

Anjali & Raj : Epitome of Love, only couple who signifies the most beautiful and greatest gift by God to mortals like us…………I still remember post wet night when I send sms to Anjali saying I so love the fact to see them truly, madly,  deeply in Love and seeing that i myself for few seconds brushed aside that independent strong girl and felt the bit emptiness in my life…………Seeing their care for each other I felt like telling God why he did not bless me with that special somebody but connecting the dots I got superb reply that things happen when they meant to be and it will for sure.

Like for Raj and Anjali who from different backgrounds, and they are classic example of   “Opposites Attract” and finally love brewed between them after couple of terms and so glad its going so strong amidst all the negative energies comments and evil nazar……Touchwood and hope it remains like this forever and always.

So for both both of you I just have this one line “True Love is like a Ghost, everyone talks about it but only few have seen”

Dhruv Sethi : I don’t know what to say much about the “Perfect Gentleman ,School Kid and Mama’s Boy types, the topper of the batch and whose notes are much in demand towards the end term and I also took advantage of the same after missing couple of classes……………Just want to say that we could not interact much but here’s wishing you all the happiness and success ahead.

GKB not just Gas Kaur Bhatia but a lady of substance and guns .The warm and friendly girl among the Bummers who made the effort to befriend a stranger and exchange student and also got me in Con B group and honestly it was so much Fun,sharing insights,learning form you guys…………….Well our French classes remain pending but I know this Punjabi Soni Kudi will rock in Europe with our own jubaani and here’s wishing my dear friend all the much deserve happiness and success. Rock On!!

Shivanshu : His USP was his long curly locks initially and I was wondering when I did not know his name that who is this fun and friendly dude in mad competitive environment in XL………..Though could not get the chance to interact much all I wanna say is that always have this awesome positive zest you have for life and wishing you all the happiness and success ahead.Cheers!!

Mayur : The “Entrepreneur” guy in the campus, perfect gentleman and few nice conversations we shared……….In a way I am grateful that those conversation helped me switch from a  mega tough subject I would have struggle to another which added broader dimension and had much impact…….Until I met this FUN IItian I always had that preconceived notion of “Frustrated Geeks”……………Here’s wishing you all the happiness and success ahead and especially looking forward to see you as a successful entrepreneur in future ahead and share some business ideas.Cheers!!

Samriddhi : Was damn impressed when got to know that she might be few single soul who gives up on coveted Summer Internships to work for an NGO in outskirts which is indeed mindblowing and commendable. It was indeed nice to work together in Social Entrepreneurship and I still remember of pestering her initially as I so wanted desperately to switch to Prof.Madhukar course being bog down with wrong choice of electives initially………Keep this undying selfless passion alive and keep moving forward and I am sure with God’s grace you will reach gr8 heights.Cheers!!

Chandranshu : What to script about someone who is so skilled and creative as him………..I will always cherish one awesome email he wrote to welcome me in a new campus where initially I did not find any warmth and found many people hostile who think twice even to give a smile.

“Chandu” coincidentally this is name of another Gem of a friend of mine in Mumbai…………I learnt many positive attitude especially the way you tackle marketing probs from you and it was a great pleasure to have known you. Wishing you all the very best ahead. Cheers!!

Deepayan :  I got just one chance to interact with him and discovered how fun and jovial person he is inspite of handling the stressful “Placements” I want to wish you all the marital bliss ahead.
