Re Kabiraaaa maaaan jaaaaa..............Kaise Teri Khudgarzi humming silently within my heart..............I am not any skilled Critic but "Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani(YJHD)" being most awaited flick for me so far in 2013 so couldnot stop my pen from the flow of honest thoughts :-)
In a nutshell as i have mentioned - Movie Verdict : HOUSEFUL!! Awesome 1st half but bit draggy 2nd half...overall saucy one liners and Ranbir to watch out for :-) Definitely refreshing change in 2013 & seeing this i so wanna badly make a trip with my besties even miore But most nicest part they depict is about having not much expectations but Faith always conquers it all in the end be real or reel.
But i want to highlight some special aspect associated with the movie apart from Romanchak and Entertaining maasaledaar tadka wala dialogues like ek jawaan ladki zyaada enjoy kaaregi toh pregnant ho jaayegi ;P as i laughed my lungs out and loudly :-)
Kalki was amazing on her energy and needless to say Aditya Roy Kapoor post Ashique 2 has great Fan following and gave effortless and smooth performance.........Ms Padukone barring her Hindi accent, get into indepth character of Sasmish Naina. Well coming to "EYE CANDY" Bunny aka Kabir Thappar's role was brilliantly essayed by Nation's & also mine current Hearthrob RANBIR KAPOOR who does full justice post Barfi mute role , here we see Ranbir flirting, singing and doing all the pagalpaan with awesome one liners.
What i want to empahize was the essence of Friendship going hazzy because of Distance which is so apt in this selfish era of competition,situational friendship and survival of fittest and on other hand evergreen Memories of a Fun Trip with your Besties which stays on withyou forever and also life changing experience of a simply bookworm and girl next door. Yeah its mostly possible in reel when one waits for 8 long years and classic example of Eternal Love knowing the guy she has fallen has own dreams and priorties and never believes in Daal Chawaal (Routine Life post Marriage) he prefers taandee Kaaabab(many flings) and whoa "OPPOSITES ATTRACT" and happy realization after 8 years :-) Another Best Friend who loved and gave precious heart to her Bestest Buddy only to get hurt and later happily ever after with another Prince Charming.
Most beautiful scene i would say was during the TREK reaching the point which was supposedly Haunted and Naina finding ray of Hope to discover Bhairaab's(SHIVA) Temple and make a wish.............Making us go back and believe yes there is something call DESTINY which defintely decides who we get to meet in life ahead and who stays on forever as well. She makes one wish BUNNY who was the only magical person with whom she has ever spend wonderful fun life's moments.
How they reunite post 8 years?................Where does Bunny run behind and chasing his travelling dreams? Is his Dreams so important that he becomes to hard hearted and doesnot even give two hoots regarding his Parents?How two people being completely opposite agrees nothing is wrong with the other but just that they are different........discover all of this on weekend and catch a show of "YJHD" with your besties or someone special and family-to Relive Life's moments and may be who knows the movie is also a good promotion of Make mytrip.com and aam janta will hurry and book some fun trips and enjoy with people ultimately who matters to them :-) seeing the Housefull boards and also kind of creepy moviegoers who shouted "Sex" as Naina tells Bunny I Love You ke baad kiya, all i can say just munch your favourite Flavour of Popcorn and having a refreshing 161 minutes break from mundane to-do routine daily activities and work along with enjoying the soothing music & watching sizzling GHAGRA performance of BOLLY DIVA MADHURI(who will ever guess that she is in 40s & mother of 2 kids and sharing common space with youthful Ranbir :P Also who knows sometimes taking a Chance makes you ending up with unexpected journey with exciting person. But Begum Ron still doesnot think Bunny aka Kabir(loved dis name with Urdu touch) can replace evergreen Aditya Kashyap(JAB WE MET :-) Badtameez Dil Maane Nai xoxo
